QBSA Reference Tables
This table is collecting the main characteristics of various materials like the Young modulus, Poisson's Ratio, thermal expansion coefficient et... A special field is implemented to indicate whether the material can be considered for the a bearing (rings, rolling elements or both).
QBSA includes two additional tables. These tables are designed for the management of material and lubricant data. As a primary function, these tables are a convenient way for the storage of precious information. Further, the contained data are will be used in the application module. For example, It will be possible to change the lubricant or switch from rolling element made of steel to other rolling element made of ceramic etc..
As for the material this table is collecting the main characteristics of various lubricants like the viscosities at different temperature etc.
